Welcome to ChineseChess. By accessing or using our Discord Activity (the "Service", "App"), you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer(s) of ChineseChess. By launching and playing the Activity on Discord, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

ChineseChess is a multiplayer online board game provided as an embedded Activity within the Discord application. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) at any time with or without notice to you.

3. User Conduct

When using the Service, you agree to:

• Abide by Discord's official Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• Be respectful to other players. Do not use the in-game chat to harass, abuse, spam, or share malicious content.
• Not attempt to exploit, hack, or otherwise disrupt the servers, game logic, or other infrastructure underlying the Service.

Violation of these rules may result in temporary or permanent bans from accessing the Activity.

4. Intellectual Property

All original assets, design elements, and source code of the ChineseChess Activity are the intellectual property of its respective creators. However, traditional Chinese Chess game rules and generic board formats are public domain. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the proprietary elements of the Service without written permission.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the availability, reliability, or accuracy of the Service. We do not guarantee that the game will run uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developers of ChineseChess be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, including any loss of data, progress, or access.

7. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
